Staff met with Treating Therapist Patrice Davis to discuss IVP/IRP Breanne's progress to date. Patrice elaborated to Staff that Breanne needs continued support in locating employment. Patrice and Staff both agreed that finding employment would do wonders to help boost her ego. Patrice also informed Staff that Breanne was no longer staying in the shelter, due to a curfew violation. Patrice informed Staff that Breanne was now staying back home with her mother's home. Staff indicated that there was possibly some enabling behavior by mother that encouraged her early departure from women’s shelter. Staff noted that Breanne’s silence regarding her shelter status coupled with her mother indecisiveness may be a sign that some enabling is taking

This semester has been what seems to be a long semester. As I began this class I wasn’t quite sure what I would get out of this class, if even anything. However, this class has been one of my favorite classes to attend each week. Looking back through this semester and trying to figure out which theory and theorist stood out most to me was very difficult. This semester we have covered many different theories and theorist.
Phobias, fear of heights, fear of spiders, fear of death; everyone has something that makes them feel so uncomfortable that their body reacts with fear and anxiety. The fear comes from a sense of what if; what if that spider bit me, what if I fell off the roof? Having fear is a human experience that we can’t avoid. That goes for me as well, a phobia that I would say affects my life would be a fear of confined spaces, that feeling of I can’t get out or I can’t move. This terror is common and known as claustrophobia. For some claustrophobia can be so debilitating to ones life that they must seek help from a therapist. Therapist vary and can treat a persons phobia with a number of different techniques depending on their specialty.

Pt started therapy session with wheelbarrow exercise in order to improve shoulder stability and UE strength required to improve fine motor skills needed for school activities and functional ADL’s tasks. He requires Max A physical , verbal ,tactile cue and max encouragement. He achieve 40 % of the act. Pt also engaged in art project act targeting FM coordination , visual perception and self expression. He was able to cut 8 inches long strips of paper ,using scissors integrating bilateral hands and glue it in an specific assigned area . He also was able to sustain focus with Mod verbal cues and followed two step instructions . He achieved 40 % of the act.
Therapist met with individual to discuss disrespecting his teacher and bothering his peers. Individual states his teacher makes him mad and his peers talks about him. Therapist and individual worked on decision-making skills to avoid disrespecting authority figures and avoid negative peer interactions through open discussion. Individual states he will keep his mouth close when he’s angry.

While career counselors have a wide range of assessment instruments they can utilize; choosing an instrument that is effective, reliable, economical, and cross-cultural can be challenging; however, when assessment instruments are chosen correctly, they can provide counselors with wealth of information regarding their client. Be that as it may, if career counselors neglect to consider all aspects of their client’s lives such as their worldview, cultural background, and ethnicity etc. assessments can yield invalid results and thus ineffective career counseling. Utilizing the O*Net Online as part of Naomi’s career assessment is recommended as it provides current trends within the workforce. An assessment that would benefit Naomi to prioritize what is important in her life would be occupational card sorts, which are created on a case by case basis by counselors to specifically address the needs of each client. According to Brott (2004), “personalized card sorts can be used to verify the counselor 's understanding of the client story and to validate the client 's preferred ways of being” (p. 194). In an effort to self-explore in these works, there are several personal issues that I can identify. Each could quite possibly limit my effectiveness as a future therapist. My personality by nature is controlling, so as mentioned in our Counseling and Therapy Skills textbook, I am certain I will try countless times to mold my clients in a way that best makes sense in my mind relevant to my own experiences, in spike of what clients tell me in any given session (Martin, 2011). One way I might improve on my exposure and experience with the sensitive soul. The occupational therapist was called in to assess the home and sitting room and had drawn up a health care Home plan which was agreed on which would facilitate turning the siting room into a temporarily bedroom.
