Unit 2 was driving eastbound in the left lane of 167th St. between Orchard Ridge Ave. and Anthony Ave. in Hazel Crest, IL. Unit 2's approximate speed was 35 miles per hour. A large puddle of water had formed from a very recent rain. It covered the right lane and part of the left lane. The driver of Unit 2 noticed the puddle and proceeded to slow down to a speed of approximately 20 miles per hour. The driver of Unit 2 then noticed Unit 1 coming from behind in the right lane at a high rate of speed. Unit 1 tried to avoid the puddle without slowing down and impacted Unit 2. Unit 1 was pushed back into the right lane. Unit 2 was pushed off of the left side of the road onto the slightly raised median. The front and left side of Unit 1 was severly

Now that we have taken a look at the minimum required hardware and software of the ADP system, let’s examine ADP as a Human Resource Information System, or HRIS for short. A great HRIS system provides critical data about the human resource function of the business as well as helping to create a follow through on the business’s mission and goals. HRIS systems help to reduce organizational costs by contributing to the efficiency of the human resource management function. HRIS systems help to automate critical human resource management functions (Chauhan, Sharma, & Tyagi, 2011, p. 58). HRIS systems contain information on employees, job and work conditions, positions, payroll and benefits, and HR events such as recruitment, training, development, performance appraisals, and terminations (Chauhan, Sharma, & Tyagi, 2011, p. 59). Although ADP offers all of these features, Federal-Mogul utilizes ADP specifically for the payroll and benefits function.
Information Technology has grown in popularity and has advanced over the years. Information Technology is used in a wide number of different fields, one of which includes Human Resource Management. As of 2017, all the information we’ve ever needed or wanted to know can be searched and found online. With all of this information at our fingertips, we as a society have become more advanced. The main purpose of the GenRays’ HRIS project is to replace the primitive legacy system by centralizing and streamlining Human Resource’s (HR) functions, and improving the current HR processes while facilitating growth and saving money across the organization.
One of the reasons why an organisation needs to collect and record HR data is to drive future business decisions within a company. Everything is based on the data and directly affects the company’s strategy and the company’s needs.
I remember hearing of the death of the “King of Rock and Roll”. It was August of 1977 when I was soon to enter my senior year in high school. I was listening to the radio as most teenagers did back then and heard the unbelievable announcement that Elvis Presley was dead at the young age of 42 years old. He had been found dead in his Graceland bathroom from a heart attack due to an abuse of prescription drugs.
In this age where technology plays an important role in how corporations are run, it is important for leadership and management of a company to provide the tools needed to help implement the company’s strategy to measure Learning and Growth. They should measure the effectiveness of their systems, database, and networks.
Employers often have systems that contain employee records and performance evaluations. These info systems are useful for managers to communicate efficiently with employees by providing information that will allow them to better coach and develop their employees. This is very useful in achieving operational excellence.
This is a digital art piece of Kavacy that I got from my tumblr. It’s a digital painting of Kaniki from the anime Tokyo Ghoul. I like this piece I particular because the different aspects of the show you can find just for noticing the small details. The hair was the first thing I noticed. The artist used thick slightly faded lines to define the over all shape of the hair. Then as he went along he began using thick solid strokes to fill in the hair in the back and thin solid strokes to show the individual strands of hair in the front. He did this to show that these strands held more dominance. I enjoy how the artist gave the whole picture that cold gritty and solemn feel. It makes the piece very alluring with the center being the primary focus
When I woke up a walk down stairs and I was wondering where my mom was because we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. I was so excited I couldn't wait. Then I ran up to my mom's room and there she is sleeping in her bed. I yelled WAKE UP we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. She said oh I forgot then we both jumped in the shower before we left. Then we were on our way to 6 flags. We left at 8:00am so she said we would be there at 10:00am. ZOOM!!! the car went by us in a flash. We barely saw it. Then my mom gave me a large box when we stopped at kwik trip. She said I couldn't open it till tomorrow. Then we got back on the road. I was listening to the music for most of the ride. Then there it was my favorite song was on. I told my mom to crank it up.
There are two purposes that HR technology serves in an organization. The first is to improve the efficiency of employee data and HR activities collection. At Xerox, the use of HR technology has been instrumental in making HR services more accessible to their workforce. The second purpose of HR technology is to capture a greater degree of informational data that enables HR planning and managerial decision making. Again, Xerox made use of this aspect by supplying intranet employee surveys and tracking employee views on the company and HR. The
Human resource management’s (HRM) role is changing in business. In the past, HR was a nothing but an administrative support function, now it is a key player in a business’s strategic planning. Today HR must have the ability to manage employees in way that contributes directly to a organization’s strategic goals. This sudden paradigm shift in purpose now feeds HR manager’s need for integrated systems that also include business intelligence. As companies look for more responsive and effective systems, outdated HR systems fall to the wayside as new modern and agile systems evolve.
