Obviously, Michael’s main goal was not to add value to the business but to benefit as much as possible from this premier resort and the conflict between Michael and Rebecca became an important excuse for not taking responsibilities for their unprofessional actions at work. This bad scenario affected his entire crew’s performances and quality of services. For Rebecca, she did not want to face the problem directly. Furthermore Rebecca believes that if she couldn’t see the problems, it can be avoided or ignored until something bad actually happens. There is a lack of fit between the organization as a whole and the tasks being assigned to the organization’s employees. Rebecca being the operation manager for Waterview, she has many jobs

The Clean Water Act (CWA) founds the elementary structure for regulating releases of contaminants into the water bodies of the US and also for surface waters it regulates quality standards. The origin of the CWA was passed in 1948 and was named the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, then the Act was suggestively reorganized and prolonged in 1972. as "Clean Water Act" this became the Act 's communal name after amendments in 1972.Further down to CWA, EPA has applied other pollution control agendas such as for industry, the setting wastewater standards. We similarly have set some water quality standards for all pollutants in surface waters.
For the Management section, it is apparent that Mike has internal employee issues, as the majority of the employee have been written up more than once and some as many as six times. Tim cannot allow the employees to ruin the coffee shops reputation.

The Portman Hotel sought to maximize service while minimizing management overhead; therefore, they cut some middle management, such as the manager of food and beverages. Because of this strategy, some top level managers had many more employees reporting to them directly. For example, Spencer Scott, the director of room services, had over 60 personal valets reporting to him directly when the hotel first opened. Exhibit 2 in the case study shows that the position of the executive assistant manager was vacant. Some PVs and their supervisor blamed Scott for lack of supervision because they thought he was too busy to know answer for every little question.

Though the issue looked like personal conflicts on the face, it actually stems from the friction between two departments fundamentally different in their working methods and thought processes. The fact that the two managers, Ellen and Ronnie, with different working styles leading these two departments has only compounded the problem. Ellen’s complaint was that Ronnie’s team is not sending their timesheets in time, which is leading to late payments from the insurer and shortage in cash flow. Even Ronnie acknowledges this but the solution appears to be different in each other’s minds. Ronnie is adamant that they just need more time, while Ellen is saying that genuine effort is required, not just time extensions. As much as
Water is a human right, not a commodity. It is the essence of life, sustaining every living being on the planet. Without it we would have no plants, no animals, no people. However, while water consumption doubles every twenty years our water sources are being depleted, polluted and exploited by multinational corporations. Water privatization has been promoted by corporations and international lending institutions as the solution to the global water crises but the only one’s who benefit from water privatization are investors and international banks. The essential dilemma of privatization is that the profit interests of private water utilities ultimately jeopardizes the safeguarding of the human right to water. Access to clean, sufficient
To be an affective sales manager at Phoenix, Mrs. Richardson needed to be able to bring together this group of insubordinate employees who seemingly did not work well as a team. Of these employees, only a few had been meeting or exceeding expectations of the organization. More so the attitudes of the employees were so far from acceptable that there is question as to why they held the positions that they did. Alex Hoffman, top sales representative, showed little respect for Mrs. Richardson, however as he consistently brought in sales he was not a candidate to let go. Although, Mrs. Richardson still should have had a discussion with Mr. Hoffman about his actions and the fact that when other employees perceive his disrespect then they may in turn do the same. On top of that, Sarah Vega continuously showed up for work late and even missed one day per week on average. These actions are unacceptable in the workplace and worthy of termination. A third employee, Chelsea Peterson, showed absolutely no respect for her new sales manager. These sorts of actions do not deserve to go unnoticed or unpunished. Melissa Richardson should have scheduled a mandatory meeting for all employees in order to lay down the law. She needed to tell them all together as a team exactly what her expectations for
