Wedding Speech for a Maid of Honor or Best Woman
Good evening. I would like to thank all of you for attending this joyful occasion.
For those of you that don't know me, I'm Hanah's friend Erica, sometimes known as "Natasha" or "Hanah's foot taller twin sister". I'm sure you read in the playbill/program that I used to work with her in the accounting department. We hit it off from the start - both having a love for drama, we spent not only our working days together but every night as well. We got into trouble a lot for talking too much - so much that it became necessary to write notes, crumple them up and throw them at each other when no one was looking.
Through the years we kept in contact while she went away to College and I

So when he asked her out for the next weekend she not only brought me, but also my husband and 2 children as well. "This wasn't a date!" she would say. He survived meeting all of us - plus my child barfing on me at dinner, but Hanah was still unsure of him. The next night they came over for dinner and Hanah broke one of my dinning room chairs, but he still stuck around. I thought - "Oh yeah, this guy likes her." I lit some candles for "ambiance" and the next day I was told she had booked the church.
A month or so later, I helped Ray get the ring and think up this completely romantic way of proposing: We were to dip the ring box in chocolate and put it in a candy box, take it to her school and then he'd propose in-front of her class. Well, I had forgotten to get chocolate to cover the ring box, so I melted some old Christmas candy: Hershey Kisses with almonds -( I DON'T suggest that to anyone ) it never hardened completely, but we put it in the chocolate box and went off to her school. Ray wanted me to come along and take pictures, but I had my kids with me - so we decided to wait for her to come out of her class. I had a video camera, my children were running around wild, Ray seemed to be pretty calm - just really giddy. Hanah finally came out and Lauren ran up to her, she saw the camera and started laughing. Ray went up to her and told her he bought this box of candy for her and Hanah was like: "But I'm hungry, let's get lunch." Not being
(Stand up, mobile phone in hand)” Well thank you vicar it is a bit inconvenient at the moment I am just about to start the speeches."
Good Evening! For those of you who don?t know me, I?m Charlotte, the very proud sister of our glamorous Bride. I want to start by congratulating Kari and Ernest, and thanking all of you for coming here today.
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - I would like to start by thanking Frank on behalf of the bridesmaids for his kind comments and echo the fact that they look wonderful and performed their role fantastically well, despite the inevitable and healthy rivalry that can sometimes occur. In fact, just before the service I overheard a furious sisterly argument about who was going to be first to dance with the best man. Understandable, I thought - until I got closer and heard them saying, 'You!', 'no, you!'
I'm so excited for you! It's your birthday! Yay! I wanted to surprise you a box of presents to put a big smile on your face and to show my appreciation for you and all you do. You're a terrific friend and a constant source of encouragement-not only to me-but to everyone you know! You bring so much joy to others, and you know how to make people smile and laugh. When you throw a party, you seek to make sure the needs of everyone are met and you'll plan little details to make to make sure everyone's having a good time. From creating your own made up game on New Year's Eve, to making Papa Murphy's pizza and some healthy snacks to go along with it, you put the cherry on top of the cake called hospitality. I've seen you grow so
Good evening. I would like to begin by welcoming each and every one of you to this joyous and stressful occasion.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the bridesmaids, I must thank Donald for his kind words. I must also thank all of you for coming today - I know how hard it is to get a day release.
First I?d like to thank GROOMS NAME for those kind words ? some sort of response is probably in order
Amelia Reiser is one of my best friends and I have known her since I was four and she was three. The Reisers normally live right outside of Philadelphia, but they have a farmhouse behind my house. We would play together as children, but we grew into our friendship, we were not close for a long time. Amelia was a happy-go-lucky child and was very energetic. I was a more serious child and would rather read a book then run around outside. It took awhile to mature and achieve a balance that both of us were happy with, but by the time I entered middle school we were very close, despite the distance. We would spend summers together usually at the farmhouse and she would also come up for weekends during the year.
Hey! (Applause.) What's going on? (Applause.) Thank you all so much. You guys, that's a command -- rest yourselves. (Laughter.) We're almost at the end. (Laughter.) Hello, everyone. And, may I say for the last time officially, welcome to the White House. Yes! (Applause.) Well, we are beyond thrilled to have you all here to celebrate the 2017 National School Counselor of the Year, as well as all of our State Counselors of the Year. These are the fine women, and a few good men -- (laughter) -- one good man -- who are on this stage, and they represent schools from across this country.
Good Morning and Welcome Distinguished Guests, family, and friends of our Graduating Class, it is an honor to have you join us this morning for such a wonderful occasion.
Jena Zarroli and I were stuck in the same Spanish class together my freshman year of high school. I guess you could say we bonded over our mutual hatred for it. But I never would've guessed that we'd later go on to become best friends. School ended and summer began, but Jena and I rarely hung out. Not until a few weeks later anyways, when we had the most outrageously funny sleepover I'd had possibly ever. After that we were practically inseparable, so inseparable to the extent that I even started going to work with her to help out. We usually worked late nights. And boy did we goof off. But things got done none the less. Afterwards, I would sleep over at her house.
Through out the years we had some ups and downs. I’m pretty sure all friends do. We went through boughts of not talking, but somehow someway we always made up. We always would pick up right where we left off. Nothing could keep us apart for long.
She soon moved to my school and once that happened we were inseparable. I'd look out for her and she'd do the same for
I have known Briana ever since elementary school, we met in 3rd grade and our moms already knew each other so we automatically became close. In elementary school we were the best of friends, though we didn’t have classes
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the bridesmaids, I would like to thank Scott for his kind words. For once in my life, I find myself agreeing with him - they look stunning and did an excellent job today.
