The mass media has become a big part of our society and its counterparts. In a time span of 50 years this medium has influenced society to an extent where it has created wonders. This immaculate tool can control almost every action we perform, from speaking to the actions that every human being performs in society. The mass media has brought upon a new era of idea's and changes in the world we live in. As we analysis media in depth we will find many aspects of media which overlap and some of the smallest factors and aspects of media, which create the biggest impact on society.

Mass media has experienced many major developments over the past hundred years. As the manner in which media is communicated to the world evolves a definite shift to American culture has occurred in the process. Mass media has undergone numerous changes in the way it is distributed to the general public, going from newspapers, to radio, to television, and now to the World Wide Web. American culture is so ingrained in technology, that distributing mass media in this format seems like a natural step in the evolutionary process of distribution.

Mass media is communication that reaches a large audience. This includes television, advertisement, the Internet, newspapers, and so on. Mass media is a significant effect in modern culture in America. It creates ideas and sustained within society not only send ideological messages out to the public but to advertise this ideas which are tend to manipulate our mantalities.

At the moment, the whole world is being swept by globalization at a speed that is both immense and inescapable. The present scenario can be associated with that water glass which is considered as half-empty by the pessimist and is viewed as half-full by an optimist. The Internet has empowered cultural globalization tremendously. It has initiated an environment that is globally borderless. If the impact of internet on cultural globalization is judged, one would crystal-clearly observe that it has made nations realize their potentials and strength. The new era of technology led to major developments in the evolution of mass media, worldwide. In our society, we originally communicated orally before the Internet and wireless devices existed. Thereafter, the development of new forms mass media evolved, and we were introduced to the Internet and other wireless communication devices such as IPads and tablets, smart phones and social media sites. Regardless of the rise and fall in popularity of certain forms of mass media, the evolution of mass media influenced the American culture greatly.

The media shape is reconstructing itself, forming a singular global body playing an essential part in our democracy socially, politically, economically and culturally. Due to this, the effects of globalisation towards Journalism have become very debatable to whether it is benefiting the practice of journalism or hindering it. During the course of this essay, it will explore the affect globalisation has on the media (especially journalism), the affect of media ownership and how new technologies have influenced journalism.

Different forms of media have been around for centuries. There have been drastic changes in the use of radio, television, computers, and more over the years. The developments have had significant influences on American culture. As the use of mass media continues to evolve, so will the way we interpret, view, and use them.

The use and advancement of IT in the field of journalism and media has been grown almost exponentially over the past century. As following the technological development of the world, we barely are able to ignore the aspect of media, it does not matter that it is traditional media, or other optional the media like digital media, or even slightly controversial media like new media, and certainly, another expression of media that come out, whatever it is, the public will definitely choose one of them as vehicle so that they can make a connection with the media, and then know anything whatever they want, namely media has been becoming a range of natural way to affect every single one asking for some essential, obscured, or even unconcerned information. In audience research, the audience researcher are about to call the public audience. However, as what I have already mentioned before, all kinds of vehicle come out to let individuals opt one of them, or maybe all of them in the world.
