The name of my country is The Eagles. It has took a long time for us to come up with the name. I have also decided that our country will be on a giant piece of land in the U.S.A. The land probably won’t be the biggest land so we will buy more land from other people near the country to make it bigger. The people we buy the land from will get a job will get to pick whatever job they want. They won’t have to look for a job because we will give them a typed out paper that says so.
After all my first reason is that Christianity people go to church. People go to church because, “It is the rational response of humans who feel the need to worship a real and powerful God.” According to a website I found and it states, “there is a strong relationship between age and church attendance, with older

My last reason I chose Christianity is because of the ten commandments. Some of the 10 commandments are, “You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet, You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.” Moses made the ten commandments. Since God follows the ten commandments and people go to church to learn about God they will follow it. I have picked the ten commandments because they are true and everyone should follow them for us to have a perfect country.
Additionally these reasons are the main reason I chose Christianity. These reasons will help me because more people would go to church and more people would follow the rules. If everyone followed the ten commandments then there would be less killings and robberies. My fellow ambassadors this was my essay about my religion for my country. I hope you liked
How can it be that only Christianity is true? If God exists, why can't God be used in different religions? Don't all paths lead to God? Arguments like these can stir up conversations and arguments, I am going to fight for the Christianity religion and discuss my reasoning, Why Christianity over other religions? Well Christianity is the only religion in which God reaches down to man by becoming a man and in the other religions god just sits and watches over the down below. When leaders of other religions shut the door on Christ by denying who He is, they shut the door on salvation. The reason we are forgave for our sins is because Christ dealt with our sin on the cross, while other religions require us to sin, which is impossible since our
Christianity, the world's largest religion, with over 2 billion followers, about a third of the world's population, was at one point almost completely wiped out, but managed to come back to dominate the ancient world. What began as Judaism in the 1st century AD, Jesus of Bethlehem, the Messiah who performed miracles including walking on water, healing, resurrection, fishing and creating thousands of fish and bread for the people from only a couple and dying for our sins. Christianity took hold of the ancient world because of eternal life, compassion and equality for people.
2. The major reason for religious toleration was to gain religious freedom and allowed specific religious groups to practice their religion without being punished.
One of the many decisions that has to made in life is what, if any, religion they will practice. Christianity, the belief in God, and Jesus as his son, or Judaism, to follow the direction of the Torah are some of the major religions that a person may choose. This decision may be one of the biggest decisions of a person’s life, and each religion has similarities and differences, and pro’s and cons. Two of the major religions, Judaism and Christianity, are alike in their inspiration of sacred texts, but are different in their identity of Jesus, and practice of worship.
The contrasting beliefs were essential as to why the different religions choose to either stay or leave their
As civilization has expanded and improved it has gone through many different religions. Some of the most interesting and different have been the Mesopotamian religion, the religion of the Greeks and finally Christianity. These three religions were practiced in different areas and different time periods and therefore they will be excellent for a comparison. Religion is a key part of every society and civilization. No matter how it is organized or what type of God they worship, a society would be nothing without some kind of deity to organize it. Through the units of study the amount that people rely on Gods has been evident and that is why this makes a very good essay topic. Three areas of religion will be
In a personal reflection of 1,000 – 1,250 words, consider how a Christian might benefit from a study of other religions by addressing the following:
For the first part of this assignment I have chosen Religion, because the popularity of this religion.
Shown in recent statistics, is that younger people, who are over 15 (as children under this age are usually forced by parents), do not participate in religious activity as much as the older generation – excluding the over 65s group, this is usually because they cannot get to church easily due to ill-health and disabilities. Brierley supports the idea of an older generation by showing that the average age of church goers in 1979 was 37 which increased to 49 in 2005, clearly showing a trend towards an older congregation. Heelas also found that those involved with the New-Age Movements were mainly middle-aged or older; again supporting the recent trend.
The topic I chose to write about that interest me the most is religion. I chose religion because there are lots of differences when it comes to religion and cultures. I felt it was important to acknowledge three religions that our practiced today. The religion groups I chose to discuss in my paper are the Muslims, Santeria and Judaism .
Religion plays a huge role in today’s day and age. In fact, religion has been of huge importance since cavemen were, well, cavemen. Religion is the factor that keeps many people going in life but at the same time, the same reason our world has so many problems and has been torn apart. Through studying the main tenets in call, Judaism, Christianity and Islam were analyzed for weeks. Christianity and Islam take the cake for the two biggest religions in today’s population however, Judaism plays the smallest role. These three religions, although different, are easily able to be compared and contrasted because of all of the history and information we have attained towards these separate beliefs. I think it is crucial that these religions be studied by people all around the world so that we can be understanding towards other religions, not just our own. Through religious beliefs, things we can learn through teachings and comparing and contrasting we can learn more about Judaism, Islam and Christianity.
First Christianity, in a Calvinistic way, understands that as a consequence of the fallen nature, humankind is enslaved to the service of sin, subsequently, apart from the efficacious or prevenient grace of God, and is totally incapable of choosing to follow God or find the pathway to salvation. You will agree that from experience, no parent ever taught any child to be bad. Children as innocent as they are, have the propensity to be very selfish among other negative traits, a natural inclination to which they are powerless against, as a result of being genetically predisposed to have evil characters. Parents are known to teach their children how to behave well, which proofs that man is depraved and needs to be salvaged. Christianity, uniquely
