Since I truly believe that technology will make a strong transformation on the medical field in the next few years, I find her work to be a compelling evidence on how technology can be used as a powerful tool so young individuals with cancer can benefit from an understanding virtual environment where they can openly communicate with each other. I would feel honored to work with Dr. Pratt since I admire how she has pinpointed some key issues often overlooked to help these admirable survivors better cope with their burden. This medical facility is one that is near and dear to me. Not only is this medical facility considered one of the best in treating cancer, but they are renowned for their medical advances in with many diseases. There is one wing of the hospital that I would love to advocate in; the Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism Center. I have been a diabetic since the age of 13, and I lost both my parents from complications of this silent killer. This center teaches diabetics what to do through education and informative sessions. I have had the pleasure of attending one of their group meetings and I learned so much more than what I thought I already knew. I want to be able to tell others of my strife through my teenage years and how I coped with the temptations of life, which were

Since the start of the PA profession in 1965, the number of practicing PAs has more than quadrupled to help bridge the gap in primary health care coverage in underserved areas and respond to a growing shortage of practicing physicians. There has been an even greater demand for PAs in more recent years as our population ages and a significant portion of our population has now gained healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act. In order to keep up with the demand, the number of PA programs in the United States has grown from 54 programs in 1991 to 196 programs in 2015 and there are currently dozens more that are currently pending accreditation.
