It depends upon company to company and nature of work for instance employee working sales department and on the other hand, an employee working in the finance department their evaluation criterion can be different as a whole. But the primary factors for increment or pay rise for employees working in the organizations can be:

  • If an employee is not able to achieve the target or not being able to achieve the minimum productivity slab set by the organization.
  • If the client feedback is negative for the employees.
  • If your attitude toward work, organization, the colleague is not appropriate or positive and impacts other employees working in the organization as well.
  • If an employee is not being able to add value to the company like not working on new ideas and strive to make your company more successful. 
  • They are being irregular to the work or taking more leaves can be a factor for evaluation.
  • If the employee is not taking challenges in carrying out difficult projects or the projects create value for the organization in the long run, he does not deserve a pay raise or increment as he is not doing anything out of the box.
