Introduction

Including random data in a hash function's input in cryptography ensures that the hash will always produce a unique result, even if the inputs are identical. As a result, the distinctive hash created by the salt addition can defend us from several attack methods, including such hash table attacks, whilst stifling dictionary and offline brute force attempts.
