How do I write code that reads data at memory location specified by segment and offset?

Can someone please help and explain the C code that I would need for this. I am new to C and would like some help. I also do not know how to check the storage for the cache on my microsoft surface 2 computer.  Define Data Structures Large Arrays: Define a large array in memory.
