Class Survey
Use this information to answer the following four questions.
You took a survey in class and your responses to each question were recorded as variables in
a data set. Two of these variables are:
sleep - contains responses to the question "On average, how many hours of sleep do you get per
night?" (I rounded to the nearest hour to make things easier on you)
dread - contains responses to the question "On a scale of 1-5, how much do you dread this
course?"
I asked these same questions to students in previous semesters and I have combined your
responses into a single data set of 297 observations. Table A below shows sample frequencies
for all recorded values of sleep and Table B shows (rounded) sample proportions for all
recorded values of dread.
