Class width = Difference between any two consecutive Upper/ Lower class limit

The formula for Midpoint is as follows:

Midpoint = (Lower Limit + Upper Limit)/2

To identify the class boundaries, find the gap between two classes as follows:

Gap = Lower limit of second class – Upper limit of first class

Then divide the gap by 2.

That is, (1,515 – 1,414)/2 = 50.5.

Minus 50.5 from lower limit of each class and add 50.5 in each upper limit to get class boundaries.
