Mass spectroscopy is a spectroscopic method for the determination of mass-to-charge ratio. The device used is called a Mass spectrometer. It converts the molecule into ions and then they are allowed to move on external electric fields and magnetic fields. This separates the ions and then these ions are analyzed to get the results.
