Light microscope is a microscopic instrument which uses visible light and magnifying lens to to view a specimen which is normally not visible to the naked human eye.  In this the magnifying lens magnifies the specimen to 10 to 100x and that magnified image is viewed with the help of eye piece by increasing to 10x.
