Transcribed Image Text:Write a function is_palindrome which takes a string as a parameter and returns True if
the string is a palindrome (meaning it is the same forwards as backward) and False
otherwise. Save your work in "studentid_palin.py" and upload it with the inputfile.txt. Your
function must correctly identify palindromes that have spaces (such as 'able was i ere i
saw elba'). Include multiple test cases, including one where the word isn't a palindrome,
but the first and last letters are equal (such as "yummy")
The input is read from a file, and the results should be output on the screen. Practice the
above in this lab, as Assignment 3 is based on file 10.
The output should be on the screen based on the result of your function.
"example word/sentence under test" is a palindrome or is not a palindrome.
Your input file should have the following format (each word tested on one line). Please
add seven more words or sentences to the file below.
