Step-1: Graph both the equations.

Step-2: Find out the intercepts of equations.

Step-3: Find the points where two graphs intersect.

Calculation:

From the above system, the equation y=x2+1 is a parabola opening upward with vertex at y=1 while y=3 is a linear equation.
