Chapter 13, Problem 11RQ
Program Plan Intro
Online Analytical Processing (OLAP):
- Online Analytical Processing is a tool that provides multidimensional views of their data.
- It uses the query and tool to provide the multidimensional view and uses the simple windows techniques to analyze the data.
Client/server architecture:
- Client-server architecture is the most commonly used
architecture design these days. - In client-server architecture, only two sets of computers are used in a network.
- Multiple client computers are connected to a single server.
- The client handles the presentation logic and application logic, i.e., the user interface will be in client system as well as it handles the user requirements.
- Server handles the data access logic and data storage part.
- The server stores the data and application software that is accessed by end users through client computers.
