Introduction:

The components of the cardiopulmonary system may get stressed to their limits, during heavy exercise. The increased cardiac output decides the duration and intensity of the exercise. The circulatory system and muscles are equally important in setting up the limits for the exercise. There are some physiological changes that occur in response to the heavy exercise, in order to supply enough amount of blood to the muscles.
