To review:

Mycologist has to classify a specimen that appears to be a new species of fungus. The new species has to be classified and the types of information needed on body structures and functions to assign the fungus to one of the major fungal groups.

Introduction:

The classification of an organism requires the detailed history of that organism. The classification further helps in searching for information and identification of any earlier discovered species and in identifying the new species also. It also helps in describing the relationship between different organisms.
