Introduction
Not everything we experience needs to be stored and remembered. We come across or experience so much data every day that to remember every bit of the information would overload our processing. Some things do not need to be remembered for any period of time, simply experienced. Some information we need for small periods of time but do not need to remember once their usefulness has passed. Some information is so important that we need to remember it for as long as we can.
Imagery or pictures of information is one way that we remember things. It is a type of storage for a chunk of information, a visual representation of the original data.
