To determine: The body mass index of an individual and whether this individual is underweight, healthy weight, overweight, or obese.
Introduction:
Body mass index (BMI) is an index of weight-for-height that is determined by person’s weight (in kilogram) divided by the square of height (meters). It is used to classify underweight, overweight, and obese. BMI of healthy weight falls between 18.5 and 24.9, BMI below 18.5 shows underweight, BMI above 25 shows overweight, and BMI above 30 shows obese.
To identify: A weight that takes BMI two units closer to the healthy weight range.
