This analogy helps us to understand that if we do not have a strong testimony and foundation than we will waver and could be destroyed by the temptation which we face. 4.
How can we ensure that we are built upon the rock?

When we build our testimony upon a firm foundation of Jesus Christ and His commandments and the covenants we make with him, we are able to be strong and live the gospel in obedience which help us to keep that strong firm foundation like the rock which nothing can destroy us.
