One way to create awareness of yourself is to market yourself, by getting involved in multiple community projects, and being available to volunteer your services showing that you are a professional. Being present at community events creates value, joining conversations, and speaking intelligently will show what type of skills and traits you possess. Being in contact with new people in different areas can help manage relationships, and enhance your chances of being noticed. Another way to create awareness and make yourself stand out is to sell yourself, sell, and share your expertise. Show others that you are very knowledgeable on many subjects, as you are a leader ready for advancement. Show that you can solve complex issues, and create effective business plans and solutions. One question I would expect an employer to ask in an interview is to explain how to react in a situation where unfamiliar information is presented, and expected to be taught to others. As a teaching career lesson evolves over the years, if I am presented with a lesson that needs to be taught, and I'm unfamiliar with the information, my first step is to use my online sources. There are teaching sites along with YouTube videos that will give valuable detailed insight and breakdowns of how to accomplish any goal. I’d also use any manuals available to me that can further explain the lessons. As a last resort, I will consult others who are familiar with the information, in hopes of gaining a better understanding. Another question I would expect an employer to ask in an interview would be, what makes you the best candidate for this position? I am the best person for this position because I understand that education is the key to success. I plan to properly educate myself and as many children as I can, to ensure they are prepared for the life ahead of them. I can easily adapt to any situation, as a great communicator, leader, follower, and team player. I can help the school move forward with improving scholar behavior, test scores, and overall academic success by effectively managing time, and paying attention to detail as I learn what type of learner each child is. I would also use my resources to keep the scholars properly motivated and informed of their performance as we create a personal marketing plan for improvement. In an interview, I would ask an employer, In what ways does their administrative team support, motivate, or encourage their staff? What are some physical things that are done to ensure success? This is important to me because I feel that a huge reason for high employee turnover rates is because of management. Too many leaders don't support their staff and make them feel as if they are alone in wanting to make progress. I feel that when employees aren’t being encouraged, they are being discouraged which dampens their spirit and makes them rethink their career all from working in the wrong environment. The organization cannot move forward with a group of unsatisfied staff. In an interview, I would also ask an employer, how do you approach poor performance, in what ways do you develop your employees, and how do you celebrate success? These questions are important because no one wants to work in an environment where there are no development opportunities, but there are several consequences for not doing well. It is important to have team players who notice when there's an issue and make provisions to correct issues long term. It's also important to work in places where you are appreciated, where someone understands all that you do, and how much you go
above and beyond for everyone and not just yourself. It's an uplifting feeling to be noticed for the positives. The competitive pay range for my first target market occupation, which is a high school English teacher, varies according to the skills previously obtained, the location or parish of the job, and the years of experience. The beginning salary of a first-year educator in Louisiana begins around the lower 40 thousand a year. The highest paid educators reach around 60 thousand dollars and so on, depending on their completed educational level, and years they've worked continuously. Each parish will have a bit of a difference in pay as they all receive different funding. Louisiana educators are among the lowest paid in the country. Louisiana is said to be the second poorest state in America. The competitive pay range for my second target market occupation, which is an elementary school teacher, is the same as it varies according to the skills previously obtained, the location or parish of the job, and the years of experience.
