Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord” (NIV). I vividly remember reading
this verse as a child and thinking to myself, I want to be of service to others, I want to help people. As I continued to grow my spirituality, I learned how important serving others is to God.
Part of the reason I went into a career in the healthcare field is because I wanted to be of service to others. I wanted to improve their lives and help solve the

SHORT ANSWER
3 Leadership Styles from Chapter 7
Autocratic leadership means making managerial decisions without consulting others. This style is effective in emergencies and when absolute followership is needed—for example, when fighting fires, performing surgery, and executing military operations. Autocratic leadership is also effective with new, relatively unskilled workers who need clear direction and guidance.
Participative or democratic leadership involves managers and employees working together to make decisions. Employee participation in decisions may not always increase effectiveness, but it usually does increase job satisfaction. Employees resolve management issues by having an opportunity to contribute to management’s decisions.

Always set the right example—when leaders (or marketers) set a poor standard, teams tend to perform poorly, too.
Use ethical thinking to promote preventing problems—it is not enough to simply say whether something is ethical. Leaders (or marketers) must be able to instill an understanding that ethical considerations may reduce problems/incidents.
The means never justify the ends—leaders (or marketers) are charged with the responsibility of determining whether the means to an end are ethically acceptable.
Using these ground rules, create a one-paragraph (approximately 5-7 sentences) philosophy helping marketers ethically lead their teams to a completed promotion
