As a major player throughout the supply chain, FedEx must closely monitor the situation in the Red Sea with the ongoing threat of rebel attacks against cargo and transport ships. These threats have seen some corporations shift some operations to utilizing air transportation to avoid the possibility of an attack or a seizure of the vessel and cargo while on the open water.
