Recommended number of pages 3 SWOT Analysis: (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)- text in the table can be single spaced SWOT description How I wrote my section: I utilized the SWOT analysis that was from Marketline on the EBSCOhost database in helping me gather the correct talking points on each section of the SWOT analysis. Most of the resources I used were written down in a paraphrase format with the citation at the end, though I did provide some direct quotes from my sources. With the pandemic being so prevalent I did write down information that I have gathered from listening to the news and since I work at a grocery store, I am aware of certain supply issues, so information like that was and not copied from a source and instead just written as general information.

As of February, of this year Gap has 3,399 stores operating across all the major markets of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan and Ireland, while they also have grown in many franchises across Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East (Gap Inc. 2009). Gap’s global strength is do particularly to their franchise connections, in which they operate Old Navy, Banana Republic and Gap as the main stores, while also franchising out with four other companies that operate in areas where it is more difficult for them to break into the market. Financial Performance : Like any other publicly traded company the improvement of Gap’s financial performance will b e in the best interest of the companies’ shareholders, who are no doubt looking to make a profit. Additionally, Gap would like to keep expanding it brand on a global scale as mentioned above so with improved finances they can create plans for expansion. As of 2022 Gap reported revenue of $16.6 million, which is up from its $13.8
