Q/What are the uses of logic gates?

First let's clarify that this question concern digital circuits "IC" do now if that makes difference i tried searching in google but couldn't find need logic circuit. my question is down below i hope if you can tell me why the circuit is just regular electronics rather than logic ones. I know that logic gates are in fact consist of transistors but i wasn't expected to see regular electronic in the assignment sent by my teacher. Anyway... the question start from discuss you can ignore the others Discuss Bistable multivibrator by directly stating it circuit diagrams, output waveforms, and principle of operations plus their use cases(applications).
