The biggest issue with this is that it’s not a regulated system, and anybody can lie about their age when attempting to gamble. This is bad. It’s a problem that shockingly few people are aware of. Is there a counter-position? I can’t really think of any way to argue in favor of underage gambling. Is your argument representative of the status quo or not? Yes, I think the general consensus is that underage gambling is bad and should be better regulated. How can you use this information to better appeal to your reader? Being on the side of the reader is beneficial for any research topic in my opinion. It make it easier and simpler to argue.
