4 Lesson 1 – Understanding the first assessment task This week we will be examining the first assessment task – the critical review . To complete this task, you will be given a text (downloadable from the Assessment 1 folder in vUWS) and the following essay question: Academically high achieving students do not necessarily make the best teachers. Do you agree? You will then summarise and evaluate the text and present this in the form of a critical review.
