Covid 19 Emergency and Management Systems
Project Topic
The topic involves the evaluation of the effectiveness of information management, strategy sharing, lessons learned, and the opportunities created for improvement. The Covid 19 pandemic had a significant impact on the management of information and the practices involved in the sharing which are essential in dealing with such emergencies. Therefore, the paper concentrates on the effectiveness of the management, strategies incorporated in the sharing and the provision of the future insights in dealing with similar pandemic incidences that may occur significantly in New York and the neighboring counties.
Alignment of the Program of Study
The pandemic significantly disrupted most cities including New York and the neighboring counties. The influence included negative health impacts as most of the health systems were not prepared in dealing with the crisis or lacked enough information on measures to put across. The major challenge involved a lack of proper understanding of the incidence, treatment, and pathogenicity of the virus among the clinical personnel. In dealing with an emergency, it requires an immediate and effective response to deal with it. Lack of understanding
about the virus limited most of the healthcare systems as a result of adequate information management approaches. The evolvement of the information management system resulted to knowledge development about the virus therefore influencing the public education management and crisis management. As a result, the study concentrates on information management that is effective during the period of Covid 19, sharing strategies and insights enabling future development in dealing with the emergency.
Project Problem
The inclusion of information management and the sharing practices are vital in educating the population in measures of containing of Covid 19 pandemic. The emergence of the pandemic resulted to opportunities of advanced information management practices through the inclusion of
online education ad telehealth platforms to the Covid 19 patients. Information technology and information systems are vital tools in case of a risk or emergency. Sharing of information enabled dealing with the crisis a significant deal. Despite the significant effort in place in containing the crisis, it continued to spread in most areas. In the first year of dealing with the pandemic, New York and other counties were unsuccessful. Gap
The pandemic resulted in an opportunity of recognizing the importance of information management systems and the strategies involved in sharing. However, a gap exists in addressing the needs of different groups including the marginalized such as the Blacks. Tailoring the information and sharing strategies to make them easily accessible to the marginalized communities improves ways of dealing with the crisis as they recognize measures of protecting themselves. Supportive Evidence
Primary Orientation
The primary orientation of the literature review has underpinning on the concept of information management and the accompanying impacts on decision making. It incorporates health belief model and situational crisis communication theory (SCCT) in the provision of a comprehensive understanding of the information management and strategies in sharing

officers of the firm were starting to include him in major company functions. For
instance, today he was attending the monthly financial statement summary given at a

financial data he had been accumulating was transformed by the consultant into
revealing charts and graphs.
Kirk was generally optimistic about the session and the company’s future until the
consultant started talking about the new manufacturing plant the company was
adding to the current location and the costs per unit of the chemically plated products
it produced. At that time, Bob (the President) and John (the…

Tony and his team identified some risks during the first month of the Recreation and Wellness Intranet Project. However, all they did was document the risks in a list. They never ranked the risks or developed any response strategies. Because the project has had several problems, such as key team members leaving the company, users being uncooperative, and team members not providing good status information, Tony has decided to be more proactive in managing risks. He also wants to address positive risks as well as negative risks.
1. Create a risk register for the project. Identify six potential risks, including risks related to the problems described in the previous paragraph. Include negative and positive risks.
2. Plot the six risks on a probability/impact matrix. Also assign a numeric value for the probability and impact of each risk on meeting the main project objective. Use a scale of 1 to 10 in assigning the values, with 1 representing the lowest values. For a simple risk factor…

Health and Safety Crisis Project Guyana There is a growing challenge in Guyana relative to adopting a health and safety culture. The management of safety issues and priorities has been the poorest in Guyana. Some public officers are forced to work in unsafe and unhealthy conditions such as mold, bat droppings and poor ergonomics. This has activated a person’s allergy, caused some people to develop hyper airway sensitivity and musculoskeletal disorder. Further, there have been ventilation issues and no running water. Some staff complained that they often have to fetch water in buckets to use the bathroom during work hours. This has been reported to management, but nothing has been done. When it comes to safety, in most cases, no one seems to make it a priority in the public sector. Some persons complained of tripping on smooth tiles, stairs and more. There are building regulations; however, not many follow these codes. Most ministry buildings are old and wooden. As it concerns the…

As part of trying to address a community in need, the NYC mobile methadone clinic started as a way to offer people in need additional options. As part of emergency preparedness, public health managers should be engaging in contingency planning as part of their management function.
