WEEK 4 PROJECT
In the marketing effort, the marketing team should emphasize the Hospital's key benefits. The marketing strategy should highlight the fact that the hospital offers medical services around-the-clock
(Kotler, 2021)
. The hospital's mission is to offer concierge healthcare to at least 100 families. Additionally, the hospital hires specialized physicians. Additionally, the family makes charges based on the number of family members. The hospital also charges extremely low costs; it is difficult for the institution to deliver high-quality care for less money.
The ease of accessibility to medical treatment throughout the year and around the clock should be highlighted as one of the
services offered by a concierge medical practice
(Berchick, 2017)
. Patients who choose concierge medicine will have peace of mind knowing that they will receive treatment if necessary. The doctor will also help individuals change their lifestyles for improved health and offer preventive care services
(Robinson-Walker, 2019)
. The patients won't even have to wait in line or go to the doctor's office.
The benefits of concierge medicine for the hospital's community product offerings include the potential for long-term cost savings for the community
(Robinson-Walker, 2019)
. This is since conventional physician’s bill for each visit, each course of therapy, and each test. The monthly fee for a concierge practice will, however, cover all of this. The monthly retainer in the instance begins at $300. Now that such treatments are being offered, the hospital may use the money it makes to treat the region's underserved and impoverished residents.
Third party payor plans might not support
the hospital's sponsorship of a concierge medical service, which could present problems and difficulties. This is since when a conflict arises, the payor may even impose a penalty on the hospital for charging an additional price. As a result, the hospital will be forced to make the doctors offering concierge medicine out-of-network physicians. A different problem is of a legal or regulatory character. Some states that allow concierge medicine could be seen as offering prepaid health insurance. The hospitals will be required to obtain a license because of this.

Quality Foods Case
Quality Foods, Inc. first started as a single family operated restaurant in southern New Jersey providing high quality meals at reasonable prices and using fresh local ingredients. The business grew and Quality Foods expanded to operating multiple restaurants. The restaurant business is very competitive and Quality Foods’ competition included McDonald’s, SmashBurger and Chipotle’s.
Besides quality and price, Quality Foods management also ascertains that the speed of service is critical to the success of their company. Based on preliminary observations, they found that their service delivery times were lacking when compared to their main competitors. From their studies, it appears that their restaurants provided slower and erratic service, when compared to their competitors. In order to identify and correct this potential problem, top management used various control tools such as check sheets, fishbone charts, Pareto charts, statistical process control and…

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) maintains data on performance for members of the LPGA Tour. Scoring average is generally considered the most important statistic in term of a player’s success. To investigate the relationship between scoring average and variables such as driving distance, driving accuracy, greens in regulation, sand saves, and average putts per round, year-end performance data for 140 players on the LPGA Tour for 2012 are contained in the DATAfile named TourLPGA2012 (LPGA website). Each row of the data set corresponds to a LPGA Tour player. Descriptions for the variables in the data set follow.
Scoring Average The average number of strokes per completed round.
DrDist (Driving Distance) The average number of yards per measured drive. On the LPGA Tour driving distance is measured on two holes per round. Care is taken to select two holes which face in opposite directions to counteract the effect of wind. Drives are measured to the point at which they come to…
