Instructional Strategies/Tools
There have been MANY teaching strategies used throughout this course, such
as KWL charts, concept maps, wait time, Think-Pair-Share, pre and posttests,
3.2.1, connect and reflect, and Voki just to name a few.
Select 3 strategies and show how you might use each strategy in your future
classroom.
Separate by paragraph and strategy title but keep all 3 responses
in the same Word document.
Differentiated Learning
Differentiated instruction is one strategy that I think is a great choice for teachers to use
when in the classroom. This approach involves the teacher acknowledging that all students are
not the same and providing options, and adapting to certain styles that help their individual needs
to provide the best learning experience to every student. In my future classroom, I would
probably apply this strategy by giving students many opportunities and choices to help them
develop their creativity and motivation in creating art pieces. Also, varying the content,
environment, process, and product can allow me to accommodate their learning style, develop
risk-taking, support the path they take, and be responsible for their work. All these I see would be
something used in my classroom as with art, people have different ways of completing the
process and what they may utilize to do so. Especially thinking about how young my students
will be, all of them are not going to have the same learning style or go in the same direction to
achieve a goal.
Taking advantage of implicit biases
Taking advantage of implicit biases when in the classroom is not a strategy, I would think
could be useful; however, after being shown why, I think it could be a good strategy. In the
future, I believe identifying any I may have and taking advantage of them can help with lowering
the probability of them occurring, such as common ones about girls being quieter than boys in
the classroom. Implicit biases can happen unintentionally, as everyone has them, and it is normal
to have some. When it comes to being in the classroom, taking advantage of them to prevent
situations where they may occur is helpful, even if you believe that you do not have any that
could cause a problem.
Student Choice
I believe student choice is a way that all teachers should consider due to how effective it
is when used in the classroom. I believe it can help with the development of many skills, such as
communication with peers and their confidence in the classroom. When applying this in the
future, I think including options and opportunities in suggesting ideas on what they may want to
learn and how they would go about completing it can encourage them to communicate and
engage with their peers. Options would vary from it being an individual, duo, or group task to
allow them to have the choice to decide what they want to do and encourage them to collaborate
while also coming up with their ideas in art as there is a wide variety of methods to utilize. I love
this strategy, and it is one I will recommend for others to try if they ever ask about teaching
strategies I follow and use.

We carried out a lab experiment on the stroop test.
According to the results of our analysis using Minitab
ANOVA, there was no error made when we were
carrying out the task.
here are the objectives of the task:
Students should be able to:
1. Understand how human brains process information.
2. Demonstrate compatibility and interference issues.
3. Determine how noise or interference affects

2. List down the different hazards that you identified.
3. Explain the corrective measures to be done in each identified hazards in order to make safe your working environment
There are unsafe workplaces but none can be more unsafe than this one. Your goal is to find at least 22 unsafe acts and conditions in this image.
There are total 25 hazards but you need to identify just 22 to complete the activity.

You are assigned as the head of the engineering team to work on selecting the right-sized blower that will go on your new line of hybrid vehicles. The fan circulates the warm air on the inside of the windshield to stop condensation of water vapor and allow for maximum visibility during wintertime (see images). You have been provided with some info. and are asked to pick from the bottom table, the right model number(s) that will satisfy the requirement. Your car is equipped with a fan blower setting that allow you to choose between speeds 0, 1,2 and 3. Variation of the convection heat transfer coefficient is dependent upon multiple factors, including the size and the blower configuration. You can only use the following parameters:

Case Study – The New Engineer
Jeff was just hired by GSI, Inc. to be their Environmental and Safety Coordinator. This is Jeff's first position after completing his engineering degree. He had taken a course in safety engineering as part of his studies and felt confident that he could handle the job.
Management at GSI, Inc. has assured him that they are committed to maintaining a safe workplace. They have never had an individual dedicated to this task full-time. They will implement his recommendations if he can justify them.
As Jeff begins to get familiar with the operations, he spends considerable time on the production floor. He notices workers clean their tools before break with a liquid from an unmarked 55-gallon drum. They also use this liquid to clean residue from their skin. They use paper towels to dry their tools and hands, throw these towels in the trash, and head to the break room for a snack and/or smoke.

Directions: Answer the questions after each situation.
1.
David Aquino, engineering director, started out the day uptight. His young child
had the flu the night before, and he had been up all night to help. Upon arrival at his
office, David had to make urgent phone calls to approve a two-week overtime work plan
due to a plant fire the night before and to plan for a product committee meeting the next
day to counter environmental concerns about a wastewater treatment plant.
Then he spent 30 minutes reviewing the qualifications of new candidates and
decided on one. He asked for salary information and wanted to examine the offer before
it was sent. He asked for further justification for the budget requested by industrial
engineering for a minicomputer. Without reading it, he approved the research proposal
from material engineering. He rejected an invitation to speak at a regional meeting of the
Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers by giving an untrue reason.
David made a note for the…

I have two parts that need to be answered (Multiple Choice). If you can not answer both parts, please leave it for another tutor to answer. Thank you.
On the left side view of this print, there is a horizontal, straight-line segment that does not connect to other lines. In basic terms, explain why. (Multiple Choice)A: It represents a rounded edge and is there to help clarify the view, even though no sharp edge exists.B: It represents a straight edge that can't be seen in other views.C: It's a drafting mistake and should not be there.D: It represents a locating edge on the part and must be there to establish a primary plane for the inspection setup.
This print does not show a cutting-plane line. Is this acceptable practice or an error? (Multiple Choice)A: AcceptableB: Error
