1. The fleet maintenance team can anticipate the needs for the regions with the highest need of repairs and ensure staff and parts/equipment needed for repairs are available. c. Which parts are being replaced most due to corrosion or rust? i. The parts being replaced most due to rust or corrosion are the fenders at 54 with brake line replacement coming in second at 52. d. Which parts are being replaced most because of mechanical failure or accident, like a flat tire or rock through the windshield? i. Parts that are being replaced most due to mechanical failures or accidents are tires at 66 with windshields coming in second at 63. 2. Write a brief summary of your analysis that takes the information from Step 1 and presents it in a way that nontechnical stakeholders can understand. a. From the data collected, we see that the Midwest has the most number of repairs or replacement of parts (260) and the Northeast coming in second at 206. With this information, we can project parts needed for repairs and replacement, as well as ensuring enough employees are assigned to the regions needing the most repairs.
