The increasing number of homeless people using the emergency department system presents one moral conundrum. For a hot meal, a bed to sleep on, and a place to shower, homeless people frequently visit the emergency room. A greater patient load on healthcare practitioners and longer wait times for those in urgent need result from the resources and labor required for these visits. Helping the homeless or throwing them out is the current conundrum. Hospitals that take on the responsibility of providing aid to the homeless should do so with compassion and charity. The fact that these people have nowhere else to turn should be understood by providers. In addition, be aware that these people deal with problems including "psychological trauma, poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, and social disconnection" (Stafford et al., 2017 p.1). Giving these people a helping hand and directing them to the resources they need to aid them would be a great way to demonstrate virtue. This is the case because healthcare practitioners have an obligation to uphold it as the embodiment of care. In light of this, it is advised that while helping the homeless is a good idea, it shouldn't get in the way of the hospital's capacity to deliver competent treatment. This quandary presents a tension between self-interest and communal commitment. For example, individual goals to assist the poor may result in a reduction of communal access to healthcare services. For children to reach their full potential, they require an environment that supports them. But there are many violent incidents in the twenty-first century that undermine this fundamental need. One of the hazards facing young children nowadays is gun violence. Chang & Bushman (2017) assert that children might be exposed to gun violence through video games. Helping to lessen the effect that gun violence has on those kids is the conundrum. According to Aristotle, "a virtue is a trait of character manifested in habitual action" (Rachels & Rachels, 2019). One way to demonstrate bravery is to request that parents and other relevant parties, such as teachers and caretakers, keep an eye on their children's video game activity while they are in their care. To safeguard kids, their classmates, and future generations, it will be feasible to outlaw gun-violent video games in this fashion. Furthermore, reconsidering the gun control legislation in the United States is another way to demonstrate kindness. Reducing the amount of people who have access to weapons and other risk factors can help safeguard the next generation. Society should be responsible enough to recognize these terrible effects. According to Aristotle, the golden mean is a "schematic of virtues to be contrasted with an excess and a deficiency of the chosen virtue" (Keats, 2014). In light of this, it was suggested that while gun violence should be controlled, exposure to it frequently causes youngsters to become aggressive. This follows a number of risk factors, such as unrestricted access to firearms and video games with violent themes.
