Araceli Valencia Positive Psychology Dr.Torto October 13, 2023 Assignment 6B After taking the emotional intelligence test, I received a result of 100. After gathering and taking the 341 questions, I gathered very new and shocking results. The 341 questions varied from emotional to self-awareness reflections. Once I gathered my overall score, the result of IQ came out as 100, and the Panthers centile score was 47. The results stated that this was a reflection of understanding and dealing with one's emotions, which also leads to understanding the emotions of others and handling social interactions. The results also stated that my assessment is reasonably good but that there is room for improvement. Overall, you are reasonably skilled at understanding and dealing with emotions. Remember, emotional intelligence is not only essential to healthy relationships with others; research has also shown that a healthy Q contributes to problem-solving abilities, leadership abilities, goal achievement, and professional success in general.” This helps demonstrate that this IQ test comes in as a way of better understanding the ladies. The test indicated that there is room for improvement in various aspects. For example, “identify and comprehend your emotions, manage your emotions, explore the messages your emotions send you, make sense of gut feelings and intuition, and use them to your advantage. detected understanding motions and others, console yourself or others, find lessons in setbacks and failures, and let go of past hurt. cope with stress without numbing your emotions with flu, alcohol, or drugs.” These suggestions for improvement are, anyway, not a shock. I agree that there is room for improvement in many of these aspects. I myself have taken into consideration that I should improve my emotions and learn to manage them, as well as communicate my emotions with others to help me in the long run. I tend to hide my emotions in order to feel better about myself; this has been proven to be a negative factor, and this test just opened my eyes more. Coping with stress is one of my biggest problems because I feel trapped. I learned that my emotions and what I feel can be easily changed with the help of others. This test has ultimately opened my eyes to more of the problems that I was hiding. It has shown me that maybe it is time to ask for some help and improve in order to have a better future for myself.
