In addressing this question, a qualitative approach is the best way for the professor to determine what the results of other students are and what the students perceive as being the most effective method of learning research methodologies. There is a difference between qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research uses numerical data, while quantitative research relies on non-numerical information or verbal description to describe the phenomenon in question. Furthermore, qualitative researchers almost always endeavor to gain a deeper understanding of situations that are complex through their work when doing their research. In some cases, although not all of the time, since their work is based on observations as the basis of their work, which may result in an exploratory approach to constructing theory. Thus, based on the research outlined above, the question lends itself to the exchanging of views and attitudes between students which can then be further explored in future classes with respect to the research topic at hand. Some research questions related to the general research problem are: In what ways does this research serve a particular purpose? Understanding and interpreting things The process of describing an explanation How does the research process work? What are the characteristics of the research process? Individuals view of the situation Variables that are unknown How is data examined to determine how they can be interpreted? Inductive reasoning in the analysis process
