Denver, CO Atlanta, GA Phoenix, AZ Chicago, IL – ranks 4 th highest segregation category Las Vegas, NV Cleveland, OH Little Rock, AR 3 issues that I would like to bring attention to are: o Gender equality: women paid less than men despite job requirements and qualifications. Women are not taken serious on job duty capabilities that one can perform, but rather assumed to be someone who cannot hold their weight in a specific position. They are also typically held to a different standard because they are women. o Ethnicity: This is what covers everything from physical traits inherited from our race, and parents. What our mothers and fathers passed along as inherited genes, are all part of ethnicity. Someone else’s perception of the category without knowing what it is, may often bring up hostile or confrontational conversations.
3 o Sexuality : No matter the sexuality, there will always be a case to look back on. Sexual discrimination in the workplace amounts to somewhat around 15% where an employee reported at least one experience of sexually based discrimination.
