Human Child Trafficking : Rough Draft Sajaira Zambrano College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Grand Canyon University SOC-220: Social Problems Professor Kimberly McQuire March 30, 2023
Human Child Trafficking Why is it important to end child human trafficking? If there was a time when thinking of the amount of children that are affected by domestic violence, adoption has continuously arises in the world today. It has become known that human trafficking has become one of the biggest problems socially that has increased throughout the years and more within just the last few years. Human trafficking and any forced labor are identified as a widespread phenomena that could be very difficult to accept (Lasocik, 2021). It is important to end the effects and protect the victims of human trafficking which can be any person living in this world. It is certain that all victims of human trafficking suffer but children suffer especially because of their personal trauma that is influenced by the range of social consequences (Lasocik, 2021). According to Fedina et al, (2019), sex trafficking is known as the recruitment, transfer, harboring, and transportation it is important that understanding that the experiences of how much of youth is forced or manipulated to engage in sexual acts independently to and it is important to know how to ensure there is going to be appreciate treatment and service provision for the future and population of human trafficking. The reasoning for choosing this topic is because oftentimes it seems like there isn’t much change in the way that the United States is taking control. There are many times when even false evidence or times when information isn’t delivered correctly. According to Prakash at et al, (2022), their disinformation of the anti-trafficking movement is one that has been adversely impacted by the amount of disinformation tactics and this could be a problem. In this paragraph there will be discussion about what child trafficking is. What truly is child trafficking? It is identified as when the youth human trafficking victims are commonly associated and identified through social services (Pate et al., 2021). It is very important that the
world is aware of all of the youth that is affected by the results of child trafficking. This is a huge and significant effect to the public health, human rights, and it affects millions of children worldwide (Ottisova at el., 2018). According to Ottisova at el., (2018), there is also known to be statistics that are made according to the fake that children have made up an increasingly larger share of the number of total victims of human trafficking and this comprise one third of those who have identified trafficked people. Meaning that this is such a problem for our world and not only that but for the way that children have been a huge part of the victims of those who are affected by trafficking. In this paragraph how can there be an explanation about why child trafficking is a social problem. This is a social problem because of the amount of individuals that may be affected by trafficking. According to Pate at el., (2021), states that human trafficking is identified and defined as the force, fraud, or coercion that is used to explicit individuals from commercial sex, involuntary servitude, and or labor and the victims that are under the age of 18 are unable to prove that force, fraud, or coercion was used in order for them to meet criteria for sex trafficking. The reason as to why this is such a social problem is because it may impact individuals of any gender, race/ethnicity, age, and socioeconomic status, it doesn’t matter who they are or where they come from they are able to be a victim to trafficking. It is also a problem because of the risk indicators that youth sex trafficking has brought up. This is because it could be involved in the child welfare system that is the screening of youth and it is the key in identifying sex trafficking victims and understanding how vulnerability factors into sex trafficking (Pate at el., 2021).
