Explain Nash's pyramid of good and bad leisure. Nash pyramid ranks leisure activities from simple to creative thinking. 12. Explain why leisure and recreation professionals must also be educators. They must also be educators to be able to encourage positive leisure experiences to others. 13. What are some possible similarities in the leisure experiences of LGBT people and ethnic minority groups?Some similarities that LGBTpeople and ethnic minority groups share would be finding a safe space where they aren’t discriminated upon. 14. What likely has more influence on a person’s leisure and recreation preferences: sex or gender? Gender has more influence on a person leisure historically men have more free time and participate in more activities. 15. Do you think leisure and recreation in different countries have more differences or similarities? I believe they could have more differences just because they have different cultures, environments and other social factors. 16. How can family and friends influence the leisure preferences of adolescents? Family and friends can hold an influence on the leisure preferences of adolescents through things like socialization and role modeling.
