Recruitment and Retention • Recruitment • Agencies can employ techniques that promote diversity in the workplace • People of different ages, backgrounds, ethnic groups, or religion • People that are willing to work together to achieve the mission goals. • Retention • Once someone is hired, they need to want to stay at the agency • A workspace that fosters the togetherness of the officers

Identify the socialization process- We can identify the socialization structure through human behavior and the dynamics of how they interact with one another through the socialization process. • Inherited Behavior- behavior that is a behavioral response or reflex response by people due to their genetic endowment or the process of natural selection • Learned behavior- this behavior involves cognitive and adaptations that enhances a human beings ability to cope with changes in their environment that enable them to manipulate the environment in a chance that allows them to survive.
