2 Personal Awareness Self Reflection After taking The TypeFinder Personality Test and The Big Five Personality Test, I discovered that I often use insight and creativity when working with others. The TypeFinder Personality Test stated that I have an ENFP personality type, which indicates that I am “curious about people and the world around [me]” and that I “place great importance on personal freedom and self-expression”. I believe this to be true as I often ask questions on how to improve the environment around me, whether that be at home or at work. I also work to find ways to make myself and those around me happy by remaining positive and always smiling even if I am having a bad day. The Big Five Personality Test showed similar results as I received the following results: Openness (73), Conscientiousness (44), Extraversion (75), Agreeableness (77), and Neuroticism (69). Something interesting that this test mentions is how I often can perceive things that others tell me in a negative way. This can be due to my own mental health issues that I must continue to work on throughout my professional career and personal life. The results of both the personality tests assist me at further understanding the results I received from the B&D Frames Self-Rating Scale. As someone who wishes to be inspired, I also hope to inspire those who are around me. This can encourage others to think freely and feel comfortable at contributing their ideas and options to promote team efficiency. Overall, I am pleased with the results that I received as I believe this will help me identify who I am and how I can utilize my strengths and personality traits.
