PBHL 101: Social Media & Public Health Worksheet The effectiveness of public health efforts relies, in large part, to social media platforms as a way to disseminate information. This can prove to be challenging because to post something on social media is instantaneous and does not have to go through the same safeguards and reviews as getting something published in a journal. But it can also be extremely effective because it can get information out to a vast number of people in a fast time frame.
