1. Describe the rationale for utilizing probability concepts.
For practical reasons, variables are observed to collect data. The sampled data is then analyzed to elicit information for decision making in business and indeed in all human endeavors. However, sampled information is incomplete and not free from sampling error. Its use in decision-making processes introduces an element of chance. Therefore, it is important for a decision-maker to know the amount of chance associated with a statistical decision of it being wrong. To quantify the amount of chance due to sampling error, basic probability concepts are indispensable via modeling sampled populations and testing of research

I’m not sure how to put this in words but gives the business a picture of what the outcome could be both positive and negative outcomes. 3. Domestic violence happens more than we know. It can range from physical violence to emotional abuse. It also does not occur only to the women in the relationship but to the men as well. Melody Graulich writes about how she never knew her grandfather was abusive to her grandmother until after he passed away. Graulich turns to different literature of domestic violence to understand what her mother and grandmother went through and sees her grandfather in a different light.
In my “This I Believe” essay about stress I tried to use a combination of ethos and pathos as a way to appeal to my audience which happens to be college students Regarding ethos I used this rhetoric because anyone with morals will feel some sort of sympathy for someone who feeling is stressed or depressed therefore evoking emotion out of the audience.
