The Application and Development team will require additional resources in order to support the business in the short and long term. The following are the proposed positions; Role: Application Manager\ Team Lead Position: Full-Time Salary Range : $100 – 120k Role: Application Specialist Position: Full-Time Salary Range :$78 – 97k Role: .NET Solution Developer Position: Contract – 1 Year Salary Range :$75 – 85k Hourly The Application Manager will be reporting into the Director of Applications and Development and will be responsible for managing the team of Application Specialists. This role will require the person to be the subject manner expert when it comes to managing the application portfolio with a hands on approach, as he or she leads a team of 4 Application Specialists. A few reasons for this are; 1. The volume of Applications has grown over the years, but the Application Team has remained constant. As the application portfolio grows there is little time spent on legacy applications as the focus has always been in implementing new applications. 2. The current structure of the team only has one Manager whose time is split between two teams with more time being spent towards Development(Atlas, STELLAKM) and little about managing the firms Application Portfolio and providing guidance to the team. 3. The volume of legacy applications has grown over the years as a result of not having sufficient resources to plan and develop roads maps. The focus is always looking ahead for new and better ways of doing things with less focus on housekeeping. This leads to the team of being in a more reactive than proactive state.
