Apart from the cost of buying it, there could be problems with making the two groups of teachers work as one team. Human resource planning would be essential. There could be too many teachers in some subjects and not enough in others. Some teachers might lose their jobs. Paula thought she would need to create a new post of Deputy Head of the school whose main responsibility would be to train new teachers and introduce a job evaluation system. Option 3 – New building Paula has asked an architect to design a new building for Wotton College. This would give the school new science and computer rooms. The building could be paid for by selling a sports field for a new factory building. Local residents might object to this. The capacity of the school would increase to 400 students. Paula believes that profits would increase with more students. The construction would have to be finished in 6 months’ time for the start of the new school year. Parents and students might move to another school if the project was not finished on time. The architect has told Paula that the new building could be ready within 5 months if building started now. He has shown Paula a list of the activities for the project and the durations of each of them (Appendix B). Paula wants to draw a network diagram from this information. She has read that in recent weeks there has been a national strike by skilled building workers who are in
Describe the rules and legal requirements surrounding copyright and plagiarism and explain the need for referencing and give details of the two different types and referencing. For this task I have chosen the topic of stokes. I will discuss the four ways researching
3. What do the PCIB and PCIC indicate in terms of how much of the project has been accomplished to date?
The KIN organization that I am doing my risk management project on is Eastside Centre in East Peoria, Illinois. This facility has been in use for quite some time, but they usually keep everything up to date and maintained. The three main sections that I am examining are the weight room, basketball court, and the indoor track. I am not examining the outdoor track or the baseball complex that is outside. Eastside is a top-notch fitness and athletic facility. It not only allows people to be fit, but also hosts tournaments on the national, regional and local levels in softball, baseball, volleyball, soccer and also track. It also hosts high school events for East Peoria Community High School and also Central Junior High School baseball,
The building was a marvel of modern engineering. A carbon neutral, solar and geothermal powered monument to the future. The outside of the building a sleek combination of recycled redwood and interlocking solar panels. The inside’s high vaulted ceilings and sleek white pillars formed a cavernous inner space. Three classrooms divided the building into working spaces. The bright L.E.D lighting and modern fixtures completed the buildings futuristic design. This building was the newest in a long line of additions to my middle school's campus.
Although Surette already has other community centers available, citizens of Surette expressed their desire for a new public facility that can offer social and athletic programs. This new community center would improve the quality of life in the town by offering such valuable programs. Additionally, offering these programs through the new community center could attract new residents and businesses to the town, which in turn could generate more revenue for the town. Not only is the community center an economically sound decision, it provides many social benefits for the citizens of the
The tutoring center would have high school students present to help other students with homework and studying. The technology room would have many computers and printers that were Wi-Fi compatible and high school students who could assist the users with anything they need. The snack bar would also be ran by high school students and would have healthy snacks and water available. The basketball/volleyball courts would be an ideal place for tournaments and for small teams of kids who could not play for their school for different reasons. The fitness center in this Community Center would have many different types of equipment that could be used by all ages. Lastly the meeting venue would be an area that could be rented out and used as a place for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, etc. Combining all these activity areas into one facility would be very convenient and beneficial to many community
and all of these students will have access to the equipment and activities. I could also use the Clay Learning System/Maniken in my AP Biology
Some people might say that building an indoor baseball, softball, and football field is a waste of money and it would be too expensive. Each day people would have to pay a certain amount of money per hour they are there, or they could get a membership. If there are tournaments, the teams have to pay to enter them. Also Eldred could have fundraisers to earn money for the fields.
Helen’s is an upmarket fashion boutique store in Sydney’s east. Falling sales have been reflected by surveys that reveal consumers view the business as outdated and no longer relevant to consumers’ needs. Strong competition in the area has placed considerable pressure on pricing. The business’s target market, 50-65 year old females, no longer dominated the now younger demographic character of the area.
The market has not received the permits that are needed to start construction. I spoke to country manager this evening and she received word that it will take at least two more weeks for resolution
Non- electronic communication involves the distribution of a message usually in the form of: Reports, Letters, Flow Charts, Invoices and even Verbal Communication amongst employees. This form of communicating is not as popular as it once was, but it provides businesses with other avenues to communicate instead of electronic communication. Furthermore, different types of communication suit contrasting businesses in addition to, the preference of people involved within a business.
Opening a learning center for children 5-18 years of age. Also, if a child was doing poorly in school and had a “D” and later received an “A”, the child would get incentive to receive a free computer.
As mentioned earlier in the portfolio SOAS has invested in Panopto which is a Lecture capture is a system to enable both audio and visual recordings of presented sessions for both academic and non-academic sessions. P3 - Describe the main physical and technological resources required in the operation of a selected organisation.
Having nice fields would attract students that are moving into the area to attend our school. For example, a student once told me that one of the reasons that he attended his school was because they had nice fields and he wanted to be able to play on them during gym class. The overall appearance of the school would seem much nicer. Having quality fields would attract more student athletes, and in turn, lead to an improvement in our sports teams. No student athlete wants to practice on a low quality field, because it would be a waste of their talent. The sports teams would show much better improvement as well. Fields should be renovated because it would attract all kinds of students and make our sports teams
