Thus, key in the information collection process is properly “selecting and analyzing data” (8) in a manner relevant to the assignment. Williams and McEnerney suggest some basic methods to collect data, including reading and re-reading the material, while highlighting any relevant information and then narrowing
In this article, two researchers, Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer, explore the various factors of handwritten notes versus laptop taken notes. Cindi May says, “Laptops do in fact allow students to do more, like engage in online activities and demonstrations, collaborate more easily on papers and projects, access information from the internet, and take more notes.” All of which are true, but Mueller and Oppenheimer proves that the innovative technology is not always a good thing. Over the course of three experiments, students take notes via laptop and via hand in classroom settings and are later tested on their memory on the material they took notes on. In each study, students who used laptops took more notes but did not comprehend as much

Therefore, I thought about a location where I can get kicked out the environment. The winter park library was the perfect location for my experiment. I went there on Saturday morning where it is more active and crowded. After the plan and location was put in place, I decided to burn bridges with a lot of unknown females. I randomly pull the first woman aside, and set down a scale and say "How much do you think you weigh? Step on the scale please." Everyone around her just looked at me with surprise and where waiting on her reaction. She just simply smiles and say no thank you! I
