Evaluate the Evaluation Chapter Eleven There is no set way to evaluate an evaluation process, however, if several aspects are taken into consideration during the process, it will lend itself to a more structured accountability process. The first thing that should be examined is the evaluator, what qualities, degrees, and/or background knowledge do they possess. Next, a decision should be agreed upon about what needs to be reported of the evaluation: “Was the report in a clear and concise format? “ “How was the report intended to be used?” are jus a few of the questions that should be examined before evaluating the evaluation instrument. Another important aspect of evaluating the evaluation is ” how will it affect the stakeholders involved
To whom would you report the evaluations results, and how will your report(s) be tailored to various stakeholders? That is, what will different stakeholders need to know, and how is that information best consumed?
Evaluation is an assessment of something or making an observation of the outcome whether good or bad. An example of evaluating is after the Year 8 disco, was the year 8 pupil’s filing out an evaluation form on how they thought the event went. There are many different ways to evaluate such as minutes of meeting, questionnaires, post-event papers and circulation list.
The outcome evaluation process consists of a six stage model. The first stage is to build agency commitment and to clarify expectations. The second stage is to build agency capacity to measure the outcomes. The third stage is to identify the outcomes, indicators, and data collection methods. The fourth stage is to collect and analyze the outcome data. The fifth stage consists of improving the outcome measurement system. The sixth and final stage consists of using and communicating the outcome information.
Response: The current evaluation process is performed twice a year and is recorded and measured by the CEO/Executive Director of the organization. Since the organization is relatively small the Executive Director sets up performance measures with all employees and meets quarterly to ensure goals and objectives are pursued and completed. The actually performance evaluation is done twice a year in July and December.
That according to the study, males have earlier, more frequent intercourse both before and after marriage, emphasize sexual pleasure as a motive for intercourse, and have more non-marital and extramarital relationships than females. I feel that this is mostly true among me and my other groups of friends who are male.
Our first assignment is an evaluation, which uses a set of standards or criteria to measure quality or effectiveness of a subject, such as a place, product, or service. This week, you will evaluate a restaurant. You may include details that allow your evaluation to come alive for the reader.
Since the action plan is currently in the beginning phase, evaluation will deal with the plan’s structure and process, rather than its outcomes. Therefore, it will be a formative evaluation which can be also described as process evaluation; because it will focus on the ways of implementation and relation of programme theory with actual operations (Morra, 2009). Moreover, the evaluation will be comprehensive and inclusive enough to reflect all the concerns and developments in the member states. The evaluation will employ mostly qualitative and marginally quantitative methods to collect data, because the action plan is still in implementation phase and has not produced its outputs. Different methods will be used in order to gather data about different aspects of the evaluation. Below table summarizes the methods to be used in the evaluation:
|Planning for learning and assessment of learning |The learner agrees the targets, and plans are made |The results of the initial assessment inform plans |

A process evaluation is an evaluation that is conducted while the program is still running, and focuses on how the program was implemented and how it operates (Dunt 2009). To measure the effectiveness of the program and if the objectives are met. One way of evaluating if the employees are reaching the goal based on the objectives is by contductin randomized controlled tiral
The function and purpose of audits and evaluation programs are to ensure that periodic, formal review occurs such that program implementation and budget can be informed. The audit and evaluation process serves to provide information to the teams responsible for execution of those programs regarding their results and work quality. It is essential that the audit and evaluation program procedures result in new information and do not duplicate previous efforts. Essentially, the audit and evaluation programs should answer questions that have not been fully answered by other analysis or that are essential to a long-term view of performance and that facilitate the ability to gain an objective view and independent perspective with respect to the results and quality of the programmatic efforts ("Foundations for Success," 2012).
Implementation and Evaluation - Depending on the methods employed, this can be a lenghty process. However,in order to determine whether it has achieved its objectives, and if not to identify further problems that need to be resolved,it is vital to monitor the success of this stage.
Establishing an effective program evaluation system that includes creating an evaluation blueprint, gathering various sources of data, analyzing the data in order to identify strengths and weaknesses, using the results to plan next steps and communicating results to stakeholders (Dunsworth, 2012).
Describe how you assess the success of the assessment process with respect to the identified goals.
The evaluation process examines the program and process to define what 's effectively working, or not working. This evaluation process defines value about learning and training program, so they can make improvements (Rossett, 2001).
