I'm now on the last book of, The New Prophecy so far it's a great book! Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw realize they really did love each other! I felt like I was going to explode if they had one more fight! What brought them together was a fight against the beaver's! When that beaver kill Cinderpelt I was bawling my eyes out. Though Cinderpelt's death was terribly sad, I think Cinderpelt was an awesome character and the Erin's didn't have to kill her off. The cats in the book said she was a very young cat. Cinderpelt was so kind but I feel like she didn't have to snap at Leafpool in the fifth book. That's one of the reasons Leafpool went away from her clan, when Leafpool ran to the Moonpool and Spottedleaf told her to follow her heart
This book is great for people who enjoy gore, suspense and a little romance. If you love to see good character cooperation and the characters in a lot of life or death situations where you really don’t know if they’ll make it or not this is the book for you. This books also shows that even the underdogs can still make a difference, and that gives us hope in life when there seems to be nothing left. Again if you love gore, suspense and a little bit of romance this is the perfect book for you, you won’t be
I loved this book so much. There is so much action and is so much better and exciting with so much amazing detail and description. This is one of my favorite books ever. When you read it, you don’t want to put it down and it makes you feel like you are with the characters in the book and you know them so well. I recommend this book to anyone who can read at this level.
7) I can imagine myself re-reading this book again in 10 years because this book is amazing and it is perfect for teenagers and young adult readers. This book is griping and beautifully written. When reading this book you get thrown into the apocalyptic setting. I would recommend this book to my friends because I loved it and all the other books in the series. It’s just great.
I really liked the book Torn because I felt like I could relate not just to one character but to almost all of the characters. I think that the author did a very good job of creating
I'VE BEEN SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS TO COME OUT!!! For those who don't know this is one of my anticipated of the year (you can check out my list if you haven't already, I posted it in September). But since this is the last book of the series I don't feel the need to write a very long non-spoiler review. I won't write the reasons why I love this series so much in my Top Ten list if you would like to check that. The series starts out in this futuristic world where a young girl named Cinder catches the eye of Prince Kai, the future empire of the Common Wealth. The only problem is that she's a cyborg, part-human part-robot. For this book, I would give it about a 4/5 stars. I was definitely a great read but it wasn't my favorite book in the series, I honestly felt that Cress was the best book, then
To me, the ending of this book is one of the best endings I personally have ever read. My favorite part of this book is where Tuck, May, Jesse, Miles, and Winnie were setting in the kitchen of the Tucks home eating flapjacks, and the man in the yellow suit shows up at the Tucks home…
I finished the book today. I really liked it. It had a great plot and story line, kept me very entertained, had great descriptions and made you feel like you were really living in the book. It was just an all around great book. I would for sure recommend this book to anyone. It ended very abruptly, with Dr. Golan actually being a psycho and Miss Peregrine was thrown into the sea, but Jacob and the other children fought the hollows and rescued Miss Peregrine. Again, all around great book and great author, I highly
So, it’s over. It was difficult but I liked it. It was a challenge for me sometimes to understand the story but I’m someone who likes challenges. It was a totally new experience because before I red always very easy books who tells immediately the story but in this book you need to search on your own for answer and that what I like. I don’t like books that give all the information, when you search on your own for answers you can understand the story better. I would read this book again because it was a good but difficult
The book made me feel really engrossed until the very end. I was starting to get bored with Caleb being the new protagonist. I loved when Adam was the protagonist and he was against
The chapters that describe the characters’ pasts make the reader feel as if they are watching that character’s personality develop over their lifetime even though it is only a couple pages. The most enjoyable part was the chapter over Herman Husband that tells about his entire past and how his beliefs and opinions were influenced. I was able to have a closer connection with this character because there was a lot of information given about him. Also because from the author’s perspective he was portrayed as someone brave and understanding. Which is why when the book ended there was a sadness to it, the readers could feel a sense of emotion for the man in the cell and a stronger effect left behind by his parting words. Another enjoyable moment was when the author described the rebels and how people felt when they finally saw them after they were defeated. It created a very vivid image that explained why the people watching felt a sense of disappointment at seeing them. There was a lot of depth over the characters and how each had their part in influencing the Whiskey Rebellion however Hogeland only briefly talks about the last battle of the Rebellion that led to the rebels being captured and forced to walk for miles. More information could have been added to give the reader a better understanding as to why exactly they may have lost or what led the most to their downfall.
I enjoyed being in the world of Red Queen again I had high expectations because book one was so fabulous! In the sequel Mare searches the country for other red bloods with silver powers and it is really awesome seeing all the different abilities these people can perform. The diversity of the group was so refreshing, men, women, very old, very young, different races and opinions. I LOVED it!!!
Overall, this is a very good. I enjoyed reading this book, and I actually kind of aspire to read it once more. This book is an eye-opener for the potential of post-apocalyptic books, and makes me want to read more. Not only is this book very suspenseful, and overall fun to read, but it also teaches the reader lessons that can be used within real life. I was very happy with the plot of this book, and all of its
I felt Meyer could have done much more with the physical descriptions of her world and characters, but I greatly enjoyed the plot, and felt it was both logical and very engaging. Her dialogue also fulfils its purpose admirably. She does a satisfactory job of making her point clear, and manages to do it in an interesting and readable fashion. One thing I disliked about Cinder was the amount of mechanical jargon thrown around by some of the characters, which left me confused and feeling somewhat lost. However, seeing as the protagonist is a mechanic, I can see why it was
Turtle as the main character was a poor choice in my opinion because of his weaker personality, it felt like at often times he wasn’t actually the focal character. Kinkajou, as stated before, was an excellent addition, although it was a bit irritating at times with her under the love spell, I still think she was great, probably my second favorite character in fact. Anemone had transitioned quite a bit from her initial introduction in the second book, in my opinion. The Seawing princess had been absolutely adorable there, whereas in this book, as well as the other three in this extension in the series, she was snobby, bratty, and peevish. Darkstalker on the other hand, was absolutely brilliant. The humanity he displayed was extremely emotional while was looking at the ruins of his home, reflecting on his life and lost loved ones, this was my favorite part by far. Although, he soon showed how intense he could truly be. The only issue I had was that he was simply too overpowered, there is seemingly no believable way to defeat him. This tied into my least favorite segment of the book, in which Turtle enchanted a stick to hide himself from Darkstalker, who is supposedly all powerful, and made himself immune to other animus dragons’ magic, so I didn’t understand why it’d
Mistborn has gotten a lot more interesting, it isn't boring like the beginning at all. I really love this book and many of the characters have developed a lot. They are very different from who they were at the start of
