Moral duties and loyalties and external factors are defined in this stage. The last and final part of the formula consists of rendering the moral decision. This is where the moral agent makes judgment and defends it. In this stage of the model is where the model agent weighs the competing values and principles, the impact of the factors that are found outside of the dilemma.
