Skills mapping is an essential element of building a team or choosing the right member for a role. We must identify each member’s qualifications, competencies, skills and experience to assist the team to produces outcomes utilising the best practices possible. Similarly, Belbin identified 9 roles or bands of behaviour that individuals are likely to possess. These bands are work style characteristics that describe how an individual approaches and undertakes tasks.
